WECB News is the most recent addition to the WECB Radio programming. It is a campus news service created in order to promote communication and positive relations between the administration, campus organizations, faculty, staff and student body. We exist to provide detailed, critical, and in-depth reporting of the news on campus; and, to offer a channel for insightful and constructive discussion about the issues that most affect this institution as a whole.

Our programming consists of two shows, one on Tuesdays and one on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Our weekly news broadcast on Tuesdays presents informative audio articles about the issues and stories developing on campus from week to week. Included with the articles, we also present commentary, opinion pieces, and interviews by any and all members of the Emerson community. During the show we broadcast information about upcoming events, lectures, meetings, and general goings-on to anyone on campus who wishes to take advantage of our Internet airwaves. Essentially, free advertising time. Our show on Thursday, The Commons, is a topical discussion show that highlights major issues on campus. Every week, we bring in guests to discuss the issue and field listener questions and commentary live on the air.
