This Sunday, December 2nd, WECB is hosting a trvia tournament with prizes, free food, live music and YOU! Get a team of four together to compete against other teams. Test your pop culture knowledge! Tuesday, April 17th, Jason Anderson (of K Records) will return to the Cabaret for an encore solo acoustic show. Get ready for some sing-along good-time jams! The party starts at 8pm and will feature a couple other local acts as well. Wednesday, April 18th WECB will showcase some of Emerson's own acoustic musicians. Show starts at 8pm in the Cabaret. Coming up... WECB Presents: Emerson's Own Acoustic Showcase! That's right, Tuesday, April 17th and Wednesday, April 18th WECB will be hosting another acoustic showcase of local music talent including an encore presentation of JASON ANDERSON with HIS BAND on Tuesday night! The showcase will also include The Young Republic on Tuesday night and all Emerson acoustic musicians on Wednesday night. Free food and laughs for all! The festivities start at 8PM in the Cabaret both nights. Be there.

Unfortunately the WECB prom has been postponed. We are planning on rescheduling the event and we've got live local music coming up as well! Check the site regularly and check us out on Facebook and MySpace. As always, keep listening for the best of underground, real college music.

WECB On-Air DJ applications for Spring 2007 will be available Friday, January 19th in the WERS/WECB lobby in the basement of the Ansin building. Be sure to sign up for an interview when you pick up an application! We will be back on air February 5th.
